Intro
Ștefan Sprianu, known as Speak, is a Romanian DJ and producer. He started mixing on vinyl in 2002 as a resident at Club Zebra in Bacău, then moved to Iași for a residency at Club Byblos.
From 2007 to 2014 he was Alex Velea’s DJ on tour, building the live versions of the songs for the stage. Off stage he was writing for others: Mandala for Fly Project, Minim Doi and Fantezii for Alex Velea, songs for Smiley, Anda Adam, Ruby and Anna Lesko. In 2013 he put out his first songs as a vocalist, did both jobs for a year, then stepped out front full time: Prada de război, Lasă-mă, mi place, A lu’ Mamaia, Profund.
Now he is back where it started, behind the decks. Tech house, bass house and dubstep, played at Nibiru, Beach Please, Waves, On Festival and Young Festival. Next up: 4 DECADES by SPEAK, a national DJ show tour in 2027.
